Rumors about Motorola coming out with a new camera phone started circulating a couple of weeks ago. What made that rumor special was the fact that the camera phone that was mentioned, which was called the ZN5 back then, will have a KODAK’s imaging technology for its camera. But of course, like all mobile rumors, we wouldn’t report about it, until it gets officially announced by the manufacturers. Fortunately, it didn’t take Motorola that long to announce its new camera phone - the MOTOZINE ZN5. And just like the rumor said, the MOTOZINE ZN5 is indeed equipped with a Kodak camera, a 5-megapixel Kodak CCD. With combining KODAK imaging technology and Motorola ModeShift technology, the ZINE ZN5 has become one sleek, immersive mobile device. The ZINE ZN5’s Kodak camera is also equipped with auto-focus function and a Xenon flash and some nifty optimized settings for using the camera in a low-light environment. And since we are talking here about a Kodak camera, it goes without saying that the ZINE ZN5 would have a tie-up with Kodak’s popular online photo gallery, Kodak’s EasyShare software for managing photos on a PC,as well as Bluetooth connectivity to Kodak’s all-in-one printers and Kodak kiosks. The ZINE ZN5’s mobile features is not be neglected as well. The ZN5 features Motorola’s patented CrystalTalk technology to help callers hear and be heard, even in noisy environments. With dual compatibility for GSM and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), users can connect in more areas around the world and enjoy high-speed wireless connections to surf the Web via a full HTML browser. Completing users’ communications experience, the ZN5 also supports SMS, MMS, IM and personal e-mail. The ZN Z5 gives out up to 349 to 574 minutes of talk time and up to 310 to 579 hours of standby time. The ZN5’s other features include; 2.4″ TFT Display, full HTML open source browser, 3.5mm A/V jack, FM radio, MP3, WMA, WIFI, Windows Media Player 11, Video-C/P 15fps, MPEG4, H263, and TVout.

Sony Ericsson J132 - a no non-sense basic phone

The F305 puts gaming it the heart of Sony’s latest phone release, so to speak with its motion gaming feature. Sony Ericsson S302 - Mobile Phone Snapper for You

Designed to make their mobile phone customers better photographers, the S302 makes it easier to take great photos without letting users miss any magic moment. Easy on the budget but heavy on features, the S302 will come in Crystal Blue and Thunder Grey in selected markets from Q4 2008. The S302 (and S302c for China markets) will support GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900. The Sony S302 sports a premium finish with its mere 11 mm thickness and high gloss finish. It lets you share photos instantly via direct posting blogs or wirelessly to other phones or to computers via Bluetooth. It even offers photo editing through Photo Fix. Other features of the Sony Ericsson S302 include; 264.144 color TFT, 20 MB internal memory plus memory stick micro (M2) slot. It also boasts of a full-function 2.0 megapixel camera with 2.5x digital zoom, photo fix, photo light, picture blogging, video light and video recording features. For connectivity, the S302 supports Bluetooth technology, can be used as a modem, and USB mass storage and USB support. The S302 also functions as a music player with its Bluetooth stereo (A2DP), media player which supports various formats, music tones, PlayNow and Track ID features. Additionally, this phone features entertainment applications and tools such as 3D games, FM radio RDS, Java application, video streaming and video viewing. The Sony Ericsson S302 will be available in Q4. Two color variants of these mobile phone will be released by then – Crystal Blue and Thunder Grey.

One of the leaked mobile phones that we featured a couple of days ago have come out earlier than we expected. Nokia has announced its latest offering in the business-oriented E-Series mobile handsets - the E66. The Nokia E66 is a slide-to-open mobile handset which promises a full suite of mobile e-mail functionality that would answer both personal and professional messaging needs that even include Microsoft Exchange - the world’s widely used corporate email solution. Slated for a July release in Europe with an SRP of 350 Euro, the E66 is geared for business people with a fast phase mobile lifestyle who needs quick and easy access to their personal and work email as well their calendar and contacts. This functionality is combined with the E66’s beautifully crafted industrial design. The E66’s body is made of stainless steel for strength and touch of class. The Nokia E66is fully equipped with an easy-to-install and easy-to-use professional and personal email application which allows users to download Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF applications in their mobile phones. In addition, the Nokia E66 also gives access to major web-based email applications such as Google, Yahoo and Microsof Web mail tools. Other features of the Nokia E66 include, a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, music player, media player, WIFI, GPS, FS-USB, irDA, Bluetooth, 2.5mm AV connector, S60 platform and HSDPA 3G connectivity. Incidentally, the E66 is the official successor to the previously released Nokia E65, so E65 users would have an idea how this mobile phone performs.

Thinner, Cheaper and Faster iPhone 2.0

There you have it folks. The much anticipated WWDC has just concluded. Almost everyone in this whole internet are probably writing about the new iPhone by now. Or shall we say - the new thinner, faster and cheaper iPhone. All the rumors and speculations have been answered. Steve Jobs unveiled the second iteration of its great mobile phone products. The new iPhone promises to bring around 20,000 million units sold for Apple. And it also promises to reach as many people in the world as it can. So what has the new iPhone store for all of us? Three things - slightly new design, almost half the price of the old iphone and of course 3G internet connection. The iPhone 3G uses HSDPA to download data fast over UMTS networks. That will pretty much speed up loading times for email attachments and web pages. And users can quickly switch seamlessly from EDGE to 3G to WIFI, so users practically has 3 ways of connecting to the Internet. The iPhone 3G also gives you mobile multitasking capabilities, so users can talk on the phone while surfing the web, checking email, or using Maps, all thanks to the 3G cellular network. Next, the new iPhone also a GPS navigation feature. This is a much sought feature in the older version and finally Apple give in to users’ demand and included this feature in the new iPhone. With GPS, you can find your location, get directions, gives you map views, and lets you see traffic. Other new features of the new iPhone include; include direct link to the Apple Store, support for Microsoft Exchange Active Sync, more language support, better email management, new contacts search, enhanced viewing of attachments, and practically all the features that were introduced in the old version of the iPhone plus more. Now, the biggest surprise of them all, the new iPhone’s price – the 8GB iPhone will retail for $199!

Dubbed as the SGH-i900, this mobile beauty would surely makes us all non-Chine mobile phone users feel envious of our friends from China once they got hold of this new mobile phone. AT&T now carries the LG Vu mobile entertainment phone with 3G

AT&T has just launched its new streaming mobile TV service, the phone company also launched two multimedia phones that support the service. One of these two mobile phones, is the LG Vu. If you would recall the LG Prada concept phone, the LG Vu sports almost the same sleek, black design. But of course, in terms of features, the LG Vu is far superior that what the Prada phone can offer. The LG Vu boasts of advanced mobile phone features that fuses design and technology.
