The F305 puts gaming it the heart of Sony’s latest phone release, so to speak with its motion gaming feature. This system lets users control games with the flick of a wrist or the swing of the arm and then let them see the results straightaway on the screen. Think of it as the Nintendo Wii of mobile phones. To complement this motion gaming feature, the F305 was also packed with stereo speakers, and a 2.0” screen and you have an ultra-cool mobile phone gaming device. For its gaming features, the F305 features a horizontal gaming mode, Cross key + dedicated gaming buttons, gaming shortcut key, 3D games, stereo speakers, JAVA MIDP 2.0 support, Play Now, media player that supports MP3/AAC/AAC+/eAAC+, TrackID, FM Radio, and Bluetooth (A2DP). In addition, the F305 is also a full-featured mobile phone with great mobile features such as a 2.0 megapixel camera, a 2.0” 176×220 TFT display, WAP 2.0 xHTML, communication and messaging such as picture messaging (MMS), predictive text input, sound recorder, text messaging. Likewise it also features USB mass storage, organizer features such as alarm, calculator and many more. The Sony Ericsson F305 comes with a 10MB internal memory, and a Memory Stick Micro Slot for storage expansion. It supports EDGE/850/1800/1900. This mobile phone will be available sometime in Q3 2008 in Polar White and Mystic Black.

The Sony Ericsson C905 Whallops an 8.1 MP Camera

You read it right folks, that’s the new Sony Ericsson camera phone whalloping a whooping 8.1 megapixel camera. It’s not a Sony Cyber-shot digital camera but a Cyber-shot camera phone. Being the first Cyber-shot slider phone, the C905 offers the most advanced camera phone yet. Like the Sony Ericsson S302, the C905 was created to make all mobile users better photographers. The C905’s camera features include; true digital camera with Xenon flash with face detection auto-focus, smart contrast and image stabilizer. It also provides an easy and quick way of transferring photos from the camera to the PC with a USB adaptor. Here’s a rundown of the C905 features and specifications. For its other camera function the C905 features; auto focus, 16x digital zoom, photofix, picture blogging, red-eye reduction, video light, video recording and video stabilizer. For its connectivity, the C905 features aGPS, Bluetooth, modem, synchronization, USB mass storage and support. Other features of the Sony Ericsson C905 include; a 2.4-inches 262, 144 color TFT display (240×320 pixels), 160MB phone memory, GSM/GPRS talk time of 9 hours, GSM/GPRS standby time of 380 hours, UMTS talk time of 4 hours and UMTS standby time of 360 hours. The C905 supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 UMTS/HSDPA 2100,  GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900/2100; GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900.The C905 Cyber-shot will be available in three colours (Night Black, Ice Silver and Copper Gold) in selected markets from Q4 2008.

The Nokia E71 Gets the Official Treatment

Aside from the E66, the other Nokia handsets which were announced yesterday was another E-Series model - the E71. Like the E66, Nokia is also touting the E71 as an e-mail enhanced mobile phone handsets geared for the mobile business professionals. The Nokia E71 boasts of bringing an optimized email and messaging experience with full QWERTY keyboard and pocket-size for one-handed typing. It features two highly customizable home screen views with stand-by plug-ins and application shortcuts for fast and easy switching between business and personal modes. In addition, the E71 also provides quick access to applications with one-touch keys, intelligent input with auto-completion, auto-correction and learning capability that ensures fast and error free typing. For mobile email solution, the E71 supports Nokia’s Intellisync Wireless email, Mail for Exchange and other corporate server mail formats, POP/IMAP and 3rd party web-mail solutions including Gmail, Yahoo Mail and Microsoft Live Mail. Other features of the Nokia E71 include; 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, front camera for video calls, music and media player, Nokia mini-map browser, Online sharing through Nokia’s Ovi, data encryption for both phone memory and memory card. For connectivity, the Nokia E71 features WCDMA max download of 384kbps, HSDPA up to 3.6 mbps, WIFI, EGPRS, GPS, FS-USB, Bluetooth and a 2.5mm AV connector. This phone is slated also for release sometime in July with an SRP of around 350 euro.

One of the leaked mobile phones that we featured a couple of days ago have come out earlier than we expected. Nokia has announced its latest offering in the business-oriented E-Series mobile handsets - the E66. The Nokia E66 is a slide-to-open mobile handset which promises a full suite of mobile e-mail functionality that would answer both personal and professional messaging needs that even include Microsoft Exchange - the world’s widely used corporate email solution. Slated for a July release in Europe with an SRP of 350 Euro, the E66 is geared for business people with a fast phase mobile lifestyle who needs quick and easy access to their personal and work email as well their calendar and contacts. This functionality is combined with the E66’s beautifully crafted industrial design. The E66’s body is made of stainless steel for strength and touch of class. The Nokia E66is fully equipped with an easy-to-install and easy-to-use professional and personal email application which allows users to download Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF applications in their mobile phones. In addition, the Nokia E66 also gives access to major web-based email applications such as Google, Yahoo and Microsof Web mail tools. Other features of the Nokia E66 include, a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, music player, media player, WIFI, GPS, FS-USB, irDA, Bluetooth, 2.5mm AV connector, S60 platform and HSDPA 3G connectivity. Incidentally, the E66 is the official successor to the previously released Nokia E65, so E65 users would have an idea how this mobile phone performs.

From the Rumor Mill: Palm Treo 800W

It looks like the launch of the new iPhone 3G has created quiet a stir not only among mobile phone users but with mobile phone manufacturers as well. Thus, we see various new mobile phone rumors and leaked photos here and there. One of these mobile phone is the Palm Treo 800W. Rumors has started circulating about this new PDA phone as early as last week. And now we gathered some more juicy specs and details about the Palm Treo 800W which we heard will be coming over to Verizon Wireless. So what are these specs and details? First, the Palm Treo 800W will be loaded with a 333mhz unspecified TI processor which is not really something to be proud of since its doesn’t really offer that much faster speed than the processors of other Palm Treo PDA phones. Next, we also learned that the Palm Treo 800W will be running on Windows Mobile 6.1 which is something to be happy about. And now for the usual round of specs and features that we expect to the Palm Treo 800w to have - CDMA 800, EVDO and 1XRTT, personal speakerphone, microUSB, external antenna port, microphone mute option, 3-way calling, HAC compatibility, microSD/SDHC expansion slot, rechargeable li-ion battery, 2.0 megapixel camera with native resolution of 1600×1200 and automatic light balance, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IR, 320×320 pixel touch sensitive LCD screen, built-in QWERTY keyboard plus a 5-way navigator, backlight for low lighting conditions. Thinner, Cheaper and Faster iPhone 2.0

There you have it folks. The much anticipated WWDC has just concluded. Almost everyone in this whole internet are probably writing about the new iPhone by now. Or shall we say - the new thinner, faster and cheaper iPhone. All the rumors and speculations have been answered. Steve Jobs unveiled the second iteration of its great mobile phone products. The new iPhone promises to bring around 20,000 million units sold for Apple. And it also promises to reach as many people in the world as it can. So what has the new iPhone store for all of us? Three things - slightly new design, almost half the price of the old iphone and of course 3G internet connection. The iPhone 3G uses HSDPA to download data fast over UMTS networks. That will pretty much speed up loading times for email attachments and web pages. And users can quickly switch seamlessly from EDGE to 3G to WIFI, so users practically has 3 ways of connecting to the Internet. The iPhone 3G also gives you mobile multitasking capabilities, so users can talk on the phone while surfing the web, checking email, or using Maps, all thanks to the 3G cellular network. Next, the new iPhone also a GPS navigation feature. This is a much sought feature in the older version and finally Apple give in to users’ demand and included this feature in the new iPhone. With GPS, you can find your location, get directions, gives you map views, and lets you see traffic. Other new features of the new iPhone include; include direct link to the Apple Store, support for Microsoft Exchange Active Sync, more language support, better email management, new contacts search, enhanced viewing of attachments, and practically all the features that were introduced in the old version of the iPhone plus more. What has been circulating in the mobile phone rumor mills as the HTC Raphael is finally and officially known as the HTC Touch Pro. And HTC has officially announced its availability some time soon. The HTC Touch Pro touts the similar slide-out QWERTY keyboard of the HTC Diamond but improved a bit on its features and specs. The HTC Touch Pro boasts of a 1350mAh battery which gives out 8 hours of talk time, a 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS HSDPA 7.2 and HSUPA connectivity, quad-band EDGE or tri-band UMTS device. The HTC Touch Pro is a full featured smarthphone with great features and specifications such as; Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS, 2.8-inch VGA touch screen, a 3.2 mp with video calling, 512 MB flash memory, 288 MB RAM, microSD memory card, slide-out 5 row QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, WI-FI 802.11 b/g, GPS/AGPS, HTC ExtUSB and Qualcomm MSM 7201A528MHz chipset. MWG Zinc II

Going all the way in Singapore, MWG which the smartphone arm of O2 in Asia has released a new smarthphone in the Singaporean market - the MWG Zinc II. The MWG Zinc II is a Windows Mobile 6.1 powered smarthphone which boasts of a slide-out keyboard. But the Zinc II’s keyboard has no real keys, instead the keyboard area is flat with raised bevels around the key areas. The MWG Zinc also features a quick menu and it can be quickly launch using a touch button in the phone’s today screen. The quick menu features four functions/shortcuts which are the Windows Media Player, pictures and videos, camera and games. It also feature a finger swiping feature for accesing contacts and other short cuts. On its network connectivity features, the MWG Zinc II boasts of a 3.6mbps HSDPA speeds, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a GPS antenna. The GPS also features a nifty viewer. The MWG Zinc II also features a 2-megapixel camera. BlackBerry unveils the Bold Smarthphone

Already mobile phone industry analysts and spectators started calling the BlackBerry Bold as the newest competitor to the upcoming Apple 3G iPhone. But let’s leave the 3G iPhone for awhile and see what the BlackBerry Bold has to offer. Design wise, the BlackBerry Bold still exhibits the same classic professional common to all BlackBerry devices. From its lustrous black exterior, satin chrome finished frame to its stylish leather-like backplate, as well as its stunning display, sophisticated user interface and a newly designed QWERTY keyboard. Everything appears that RIM has exerted extra effort to make the BlackBerry Gold stand out just at first look. Looks are not all there is to the BlackBerry Gold. Inside its stunningly beautiful body are great mobile features.
