HTC: Thunderbolt, Rhyme and DROID Incredible 2 will receive Android 4.0 update

HTC on Friday announced via the company’s Facebook page that the Thunderbolt, Rhyme and DROID Incredible 2 will all be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. “We have more good news related to Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, and can confirm that upgrades are planned for Verizon Wireless customers with the HTC Rhyme, HTC Thunderbolt, and DROID Incredible 2 by HTC, as well as the already announced HTC Rezound,” the company posted on its Facebook page.

HTC took to Facebook today to confirm that more of their phones would be getting Ice Cream Sandwich. They called it the “North America edition” because all of these devices can be had on the illustrious continent.

Samsung Galaxy Note now available in Canada

Just in time to doodle your crushes name over and over or draw hearts all over screenshots of their text messages, the Samsung Galaxy note has launched in Canada on TELUS and Rogers. The Note will take advantage of Canada’s LTE networks and also features a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android Gingerbread  with TouchWiz, and utilizes Samsung’s S Pen stylus for input.

Telus turning on LTE across Canada on Friday

Telus will launch Canada’s third LTE network on Friday , rolling out the mobile broadband technology in 14 cities from Vancouver to Halifax. It plans to expand the network throughout 2012 to cover 25 million Canadians, 71 percent of the country’s population, by year end.
