LG Optimus 3D Cube revealed and detailed

The next generation of 3D smartphones has begun to drop here just one year after we first saw similar devices drop at Mobile World Congress 2011. It appears that LG will be the first big manufacturer to come back swinging with a new Optimus 3D, this time called the LG Optimus 3D Cube complete with 3D video editing.

Samsung has reigned supreme in Twitter buzz relating to Mobile World Congress, but one week before the start of the show, HTC has leaped over the Korean handset giant on news of a new “superphone” being unveiled in Barcelona, according to social media number cruncher Anltyk . MoDaCo and several other gadget blogs have recently begun leaking details of the HTC One X or Endeavor , an ultra-skinny Android 4.0 device, which could be the world’s first smartphone to contain Nvidia’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor.

HTC Rezound and LG Spectrum now just $99.99 from Verizon

If you’re a Verizon Wireless customer or looking to become one, the carrier is offering two of its latest 4G LTE handsets, the LG Spectrum and HTC Rezound, for $99.99 each with a two-year agreement. Both handsets run a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and impressive qHD displays.

The crew over at Anandtech got a hold of a developer unit from Qualcomm that runs their Snapdragon S4 processor, aka the Krait, and put it through a series of benchmarks. This is the MSM8960 chipset that is dual-core and clocked at 1.5GHz.
