You just got to love the resourcefulness of some mobile phone afficionados on the web when it comes to obtaining leak photos and specs of upcoming mobile phones from major brands. The past couple of weeks we’ve seen unofficial announcements about new phones here and there. It’s not that we’re complaining, in fact we actually like it as those leakages give us a headstart on what’s going to be hot and what’s going to be not hot. In the case of the new Sony Ericsson C905 Shiho phone, we couldn’t help but be excited about it. Who would not be excited with a mobile phone that promises an 8.1 megapixel camera anyway? This might be what Sony Ericsson to catch up with the camera phone market which has been captured by rival Nokia. Anyway, the Sony Ericsson C905’s camera  boasts of the  8.1 megapixel camera with auto-focus, face recognition, smart contrast, image stabilization, red-eye reduction and xenon flash. It’s other features include; GPS with support for A-GPS, 2.4-inch QVGA scratch-resistant mineral glass TFT display, WI-FI, Bluetooth, HSDPA, TV-Out, and Memory Stick slot of course. The C905 will be available in Copper Gold, Ice Silver and Night Black. As this is an unofficial announcements yet, we’re pretty sure there will be more features in the C905 mobile phone. And that’s something that we will watch out for.

It features a Scheneider-Kreuznach autofocus lens which is protected by a sliding cover including the flash. The LG KC550 also boasts of a fast processor which is a useful feature when viewing large photos and also for watching DVD videos with high resolution. The KC550 is capable of viewing 720×480 videos at 30fps. Unfortunately, its video camera does not support DivX format yet. The KC550 is also packed with an integrated sensor that makes it possible to take advantage of the six preloaded “motion sensitive” games. This feature is similar to the recently released LG Secret mobile phone. The KC550 also features a microSD slot, stereo Bluetooth and QVGA display. For those looking for a slim mobile phone, the KC550 measures only 14.3mm in thickness. Other features and specifications of the LG KC550 include; 2.4-inch TFT LCD, video player, FM radio, and a built-in 25mb memory. As the LG KC550 has just been announced, no word on pricing and release date is available yet. But like we said, since it doesn’t have a 3G capability, chances are it will be released only in the European mobile market, or perhaps even in some Asian countries where 3G is not yet that established. But still, the LG KC550 is still a great phone especially with its 5mp camera which high enough in mobile phone camera standards.
