Acer Stream Coming Exclusively to Expansys on August 9

Acer and Expansys has officially announced the availability of the Acer Stream this coming August 9. A high-end multimedia smartphone, the Acer Stream is a nice mobile device both in and out. Inside the smartphone are powerful features that optimized the phone for movie playback, music listening and web browsing. Outside is a well design form factor made from highly resistant materials
Feature-wise, the Acer Stream is in full steam with advanced features topbilled by a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display boasting of 1.67 million bright color. Completing its superb display feature is an incredible contrast of 2000:1 that allows the phone to display clear images even in light condition.
For its connectivity features, the Acer Stream offers fast 3G connectivity at around 7.2mbps download speed. It also features Bluetooth and WiFi n.
Specs-wise, the Acer Steam features Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM which are both perfect for running Android 2.1 OS.
The Acer Steam allows you to record 720 HD videos and have it played back with Dolby Mobile quality sound, powerful bass and crystal clear clarity.
Other features of the Acer Steam include - a 5MP camera, integrated GPS, geotagging, HDMI port, and micro-SD card support. The Steam has three types of predictive keyboards, a smart dialer and redesigned contacts list.
With all those features, the Acer Stream will let you quickly start favorite apps in one touch, easily switch apps with the History panel, customize your phone and enjoy smooth animation and fine graphics.

Sony Ericsson Intros the Aspen Smartphone with Windows Mobile 6.5.3

Sony Ericsson has announced its latest Windows Mobile phone - codenamed Aspen. What makes this handset special among the many Sony Ericsson smartphones is that it is the first device to be running on the latest Windows Mobile OS, version 6.5.3. Plus it is also the latest addition to Sony Ericsson’s GreenHeart portfolio.
The Sony Ericsson Aspen combines touch features and a real QWERTY keyboard that allows you to do multitasking activities. It also lets you organize the phone’s panels as well use Slide view to have quick access to the phone’s most commonly used features.
The phone also lets you view and edit office files or access the internet easily with one-touch operation. It’s QWERTY keyboard provides fast and easy typing experiences, and it even has Microsoft MyPhone service which remotely erases your phone’s data in case you lost the phone.
In addition, the Sony Ericsson Aspen also features MediaBrowser and PlayNow that lets you access social networks and media files. a-GPS, Google Maps and a 3.2 megapixel camera add to the phones rich features.
Other specs and features of the Sony Ericsson Aspen include - 2.4-inch TFT QVGA screen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity features, microSD card slot, 10 hours talk time (GSM/GPRS), 450 hours standby time (GSM/GPRS), up to 8 hours talktime and 600 hours standby time (UMTS).
The sony Ericsson Aspen supports HSPA 900/2100 and EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, HSPA 850/900/2100 and EDGE 850/900/1800/1900.
It will be available Q2 in Iconic Black and White Silver.
