Nokia Takes Over Marketplace In Latest Lumia Software

With as close as Nokia is to Microsoft, it’s no surprise the company gets away with a little more than other Windows Phone partners. The latest example of that tight relationship is showing-up in the latest software to hit Nokia Lumia-series devices, featuring some re-branding for the Windows Phone Marketplace.

It’s hard to believe that time has passed by so quickly, but two years ago this past December, a little outfit called Rovio released its initial version of Angry Birds for the iPhone. In the months and years that have followed, we’ve seen new additions to the Angry Birds family, bringing with them new levels, and regularly delivered to the hundreds of millions of users who have downloaded the app.

Global Android DevCamp Coming to a Town Near You

Various Google Technology and Android User Groups around the world are joining hands to organize the first ever Global Android Dev Camp from the 17th to 19th of February. As mentioned on their website, the idea was first discussed at last year’s Google I/O. After hashing things out during the GTUG Barcamp @ Google I/O 2011, it is time to get it organized! Format: Each GTUG/Android User group holds an Android Dev Camp at the same time.
