This phone will surely please mobile phone users who are fond of matching their phone’s appearance with what they are wearing. SenseMe and TrackID are features which are both aimed at providing ease of use when using the Walkman functions of the W508.
The Shake and Gesture control of the SE W508 is an interesting feature since it lets you operate the Walkman functions just by flicking the phone. It’s no iPhone’s accelerometer but good enough to make enjoy using the phone. With Shake and Gesture control, you can increase or decrease the volume, shuffle music, snooze off alarm or to mute your phone’s volume
The W508’s other cool features are SensMe and TrackID. SensMe matches your mood to the music and touch keys for playing, stopping and skipping tracks, while TrackID lets you search for information about songs which seems to be familiar and yet you can’t remember the songs title. You can do a text search and TrackID will provide with the information.
Other features and specs of the Sony Ericsson W508 include HSDPA connectivity, touch music keys, PlayNow arena, a 3.2 megapixel camera with 3.2x digital zoom, Bluetooth stereo, music tones, Access NetFron web browser, speakerphone, polyphonic ringtones, various messaging functionality, YouTube, 3D games, FM Radio, motion gaming, video capture and playback, 1GB memory stick micro, and USB connectivity.
