Asus Intros the P552w Glide-Enabled PDA Phone

asus_glide-copy.jpgAsus Taiwan has introduced a new PDA phone which features the innovative touch-responsive user interface Glide - the ASUS P552w. Loaded with a 624 MHZ processor and a slew of great features, this mobile phone boasts of 3.5G HSDPA connectivity, GPS, and a seamless integration with Google. Geared for the tech-savvy urban professionals, the ASUS P552w’s Glide touch interface featuring the Gester technology, enables users to perform various navigational actions including selecting, zooming, scrolling and flipping through the phone’s display screen, with just a flick of the users’ fingers. It also features various mobile applications that provides useful information to users including, news, weather forecast, photo slideshows, listening to music, all within a few finger taps. These applications are called the Multi-Home, Anytime Launcher, EziPhoto and EziMusic. Technically, the ASUS P552w features a powerful 624MHz CPU which enables applications and games to run fast, 3.5G HSDPA, Bluetooth, WLAN 802.11 b/g, GPS, USB and other wireless connectivity features. The ASUS P552w also integrates well with Google Maps which is capable of furnishing users with information on point of interest. It features the ASUS SMS Location Link where users at two different locations can locate each other easily by sending each other SMS messages. The PDA phone also features the Google Search bar to facilitate fast mobile searching. Other featurs of the ASUS P552W includes the Eziphoto, EziMusic and other applications. EziPhoto enables users to flip through their photo collection with their fingertips. A calendar option allows users to organize and displays thumbnails of photos they have taken. EziMusic offers an interactive interface complete with animations. Other applications featured in the ASUS P552w includes Flickr, YouTube and RSS feeds.
