So while we await for official announcement as to its pricing and release date, here are the things we should expect from this new mobile phone. The W396 is a handy clamshell phone which combines the basic functionality of a mobile and music phone. And like we said the Motorola W396 is a pretty basic phone but with some outstanding features nonetheless. It boasts of nine hours talkt time, can store up to 750 SMS and 1000 contacts in the phone’s phone book directory. The W396 also features an easy-to-use user interface, so easy that you can even create a text with one click.In addition, the W396 supports Hinglish language predictive text input. TheW396’s VGA camera gets its own dedicated key for full access and features 4x zoom. It’s got a full view finder and auto save functionality to snap pictures quickly and instantly share the picture to your friends through MMS.Now for its music feature, the W396 has an integrated digital audio player that is compatible with MP3 and other music file formats plus an FM radio, download new songs OTA using GRPS speeds 2.3. The W396 also supports MOTO ID for discovering name and artists of a particular digital currently playing.Other features of theMotorola W396 include; 9 hours talk time, 400 hours standby time, 1.8 TFT display, supports 7 African language, WAP 2.0, USB and a 2GB storage.
