LG LX400 Hero coming to Sprint

lgherolx400.jpgLG and Sprint has announced a new line up in LG’s series of mobile handsets for Sprint network – the LG LX400 aka LG Hero, a basic clamshell phone. The LG Hero doesn’t seem to promise too much advanced features except for one key feature which is the QChat support which is capable of Nextel-like Push-to-Talk over Sprint’s EV-DO Rev. The LG Hero would also allows users Sprint subscribers to maintain separate numbers if they prefer. While on a Nextel Direct Connect call, subscribers can receive notification if they missed a PTT cal, Call Alert or Group Call. Other features of the LG LX 400 released through Sprint include; ability to block/unblock incoming one-to-one PTT calls and Call Alerts, send repeating alert to let any other Nextel Direct Connect, communication or coordinate activities with up to 20 other Nextel Direct Connect Subscribers at once, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Sprint PCS Picture mail for sharing high resolution pictures instantly, Sprint Navigation Visual and audible turn-by-turn GPS-enabled driving directions, one touch access to Mobile email including Yahoo, AOL/AIM and Windows Live, SMS text and Voice messaging, instant messaging, mobile sync Easy-to-use online tool that lets you manage all of your contact information online, and a speakerphone. For the technical details, the LG LX400 weighs 3.17 ounces, 1.77” LCD display with 128×160 pixel resolution, mp3 file format support, 300 minutes battery talk time and other standard mobile phone fare.
