March 21, 2008
Alltel Wireless has made the Samsung Muse available to its U.S. subscriber. For only $69.99 with a two-year service agreement, Alltel mobile customers can have their own unit of Samsung Muse. Boasting of a dedicated music key that provides access to the Muse’s mp3 player, the Samsung Muse is well suited for users who are looking for a mobile phone with music player feature. The music key also provides access to phone’s music library, ringtones and a free trial offer to preview 20 popular satellite music channels on Alltel’s XM radio mobile service. The Samsung Muse also provides users with access to Alltel’s Axcess TV, and GPS-based Axcess Mobile Guide. Design wise, the Samsung Muse looks sleek in its midnight blue color. This flip phone is a must have for mobile users who are looking for stylish and yet powerful mobile phone. Aside from its music functionality, the Samsung muse is also great for taking snapshots of unexpected events with its 2.0 megapixel camera. And you don’t have to worry about running out of storage space as the Muse comes with 64 mb of internal memory. It would have been better though if a memory expansion slot was also included when it was designed. Other features of the Samsung Muse include; video capability, multimedia messaging (text, picture, video and instant messaging), 1000 entries phone book capacity, 230 mins talk time and 215 hours standby time. The low-downs of the Samsung Muse – no Bluetooth and IR capabilities. So that leaves you with no alternative way of connecting the Muse with your PC or Notebook. But still, the Samsung Muse is simple and yet powerful mobile phone. And yes affordable as well.
