Vertu Budget Phone — Ascent Ti
October 4, 2007
The words cheap, affordable and budget do not come to mind, when we speak of the brand Vertu. Nor has it been, in my opinion, used in the same sentence. But we will now, as the expensive and designer phone maker has decided to come up with a budget phone — the Vertu Ascent Ti — the word budget used in Vertu standards. The US $6,628 price tag is indeed a bit cheap compared to other Vertu releases.
Despite it being the most affordable Vertu phone to date, the Ascent Ti, with its titanium and leather finish, sapphire-encrusted design, is still worthy to carry the luxury brand name. The quadband GSM 3G phone also features a 3-megapixel camera, music player, plus exclusive ringtones composed by no less than David Arnold, who also composed tracks for Casino Royale. It also has an automatic backup feature, thus protecting your very improtant contacts, calendars and messages, aside from the 24-hour Vertu concierge service.
It may be budget, but it sure ain’t easy on the pocket
