It seems that iPhoneSIMfree is keeping its promise, sort-off. It is now going to provide its much talked-about software-based unlock available to the public, but only in bulk and only to resellers. They had this to say: “Iphonesimfree.com is a wholesale only company. Although we could, we do not and will not sell directly to end users, because we want to work together with our valuable resellers as a team and not interfere in their business.”
Whether they did this because they originally planned it, or they just did this to save their own butts from all the legal rammifications and the customer-direct interactions, we’ll never know. Going price for the unlocks is $36 each for 50 licenses, or $25 for 5000 and up.
