iPhone Hack Attempted, iPhone Meltdown Achieved
September 3, 2007
An adventurous individual was probably so inspired by the Geohot tutorial / blog about unlocking his iPhone that he tried doing it on his own. The result? His iPhone short-circuited, and ended up as the expensive pile of trash that you see here. What’s the moral of the story? “If you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t do it”… or should it be, “just wait until it becomes open source and save yourself the grief”?
