Attention: All Shoppingeras (girls who love to shop) and Fashionistas, SPrint and GPShopper has launched a new type of service that would definitely be a a huge help — even a lifesaver, as it allows users to gettheir hands on the goods they want with just a few taps on their mobile phone’s keypads.
Slifter, as the application is called, is very easy to use, as the user just types in a keyword, a product name, model number or UPC code of the item he/she wants to purchase, hit search, and voila! The service conducts a seearch and comes up with the best possible matches, along with the detailed location map of where the stores are located, as this service is aided by GPS. Pretty cool, eh? Not only does it save shoppers time and energy, (as well as saving them from getting lost), Slifter also allows its users to organize their shopping lists and share their finds through friends and family. As of the moment, around 85 million products are included in Slifter’s databse, as well as 30,000 retail stores nationwide.
Please note that this service is only available to Sprint subscribers, for US $1.99/month. Standard data charges also apply.
