Motorola Q Smartphone To Join Sprint PCS family

Motorola QUnofficial photos are popping up on the net showing that the popular slim smartphone from Motorola, the Motorola Q Smartphone, will soon be available to Sprint PCS subscribers, after being offered for months at Verizon Wireless. The Sprint version will have the same hardware and software but will be emblazoned with the carrier’s logos and comes with the yellow Sprint theme preinstalled. In addition, the Sprint version will be coming in black instead of silver, but rumor has it that even that will be available soon enough.

The folks over at Research in Motion is giving us the Blackberry Pearl for Christmas. The Pearl, first in the Blackberry line to have a digital camera, will have an exclusive look and new features, like Cingular-exclusive PTT capabilities and a GPS-based wireless navigation option.

In addition to the 1.3 megapixel camera with built-in flash and 5x digital zoom, the Blackberry Pearl will have multi-media capabilities and expandable memory via a microSD slot, giving more leeway for music, pictures and videos than the built-in 64MB of flash memory it already carries. Measuring just 4.2″ x 1.97″ x .57″ and weighing only 3.1 ounces, Cingular’s BlackBerry Pearl is a quad-band GSM/GPRS and EDGE-enabled mobile application powerhouse.

Cell Phone Rumor: SE K620i?

SE K620iWord on the net is that Sony Ericsson will be releasing an upgraded version of the K610i in the form of the K620i. While pictures of this rumored new offering from Sony Ericsson look a lot like those of the older model, the phone itself possesses a 3.2 megapixel digital camera and 100 MB of internal memory, hefty upgrades from what just used to be a 2.0 megapixel cam and 16 MB of memory. Pantech C3Dubbed as the enhanced version of the world’s smallest camera flip phone of the moment, the Pantech C3 is now available to all Cingular retail stores near you. The new version of the successful C300 can now personalize their phones via changeable color faceplates, two of which (Secret Blue and Silver) are included in every package purchased.

Measuring 2.72″ tall, 1.69″ wide and 0.8″ thick when closed, the C3 “allows users to share photos and songs with friends, hand-select and assign MP3 ringtones, utilize an array of instant messaging capabilities and stay connected with multiple mobile email services,” as PhoneMag writes.

YouTube on Your Mobile via Verizon Wireless

This service is currently exclusive (for a limited time) to all Verizon Wireless subsribers, via VCast.
