Cell Phone: Sharp SH903i With Privacy Filter

October 18, 2006

Sharp SH903iThis, I believe is the phone I’ve been waiting for. The Sharp SH903i is perfect for people who value their privacy, as it showcases a revolutionary Face Recognition Technology and Privacy Filter features. Face Recognition Technology allows only the phone’s owner to “access private and confidential data, making unauthorized access impossible,” as MobileWhack writes. The Privacy Filter, on the other hand, when activated makes other people view the LCD from any side. Another plus is that the phone also gives protection against mosquito bites, as Sharp claims that the phone is equipped with ultrasonic sound, which helps drive away insects like mosquitoes and other bugs. You won’t have to worry about dengue fever and malaria and itchy insect bites if you use this phone. Coolness.

As for the phone’s other features, fret not, as they are pretty impressive, too! The SH903i is packed with goodies such as a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, a CMOS camera for video conferencing, a media player, an SD card slot, a 2.8″ (240×400) 262 color display LCD, plus 50 hours of nonstop music playback! What’s more, aside from keeping insects away, the phone also comes with a brightness sensor to protect our eyes by adjusting the ambient lighting when watching multimedia content. And if celebrities(as well as everybody else) don’t want their private lives (and videos) all over the net, may I suggest that the SH903i is perfect for them? The sad thing is, it will first be available in Japan and they come in colors such as blue, black, white and red. I hope — pray that this phone gets here quick!
