Control Your Car with Your Mobile Phone

Control Your Car with Your Mobile Phone

Connect2Car has created the Softdash and MFC multifunction controller which allows you to control your car with the use of your mobile phone via a Bluetooth connection. However, Connect2Car warns those interested to try this out to be “extremely dangerous.”

Other things that you can do using the device:

- lock/unlock your car
- switch the headlights on
- start engine
- turn on and off the blue-neon under-car chav-lights
- control the car’s air-ride suspension and hydraulics

According to MobileMentalism: “Apparently, the range of the Bluetooth connection is 55 feet, which is presumably why you can’t actually drive your car with the device. Presumably version 2 will feature GPRS or EDGE for a truly global range, and then you really could drive your car with your phone, wherever you are. But then you wouldn’t actually be in your car, which sort of negates the whole point of having a car, doesn’t it?!”
